The reverse-edit; The new Grey Album?
Were you ever one of those kids whose parents that didn't allow you to buy some CDs because of the swearing on them? If you were lucky you got the edited, watered-down version which contained no swearing (while all your friends still got the full-strength version).
Well, today I came across the reverse-edited version of NWA's Straight Outta Compton. Reverse-edited; so it contains nothing but the swearing (everything else edited out).
Could this be the start of a new trend similar to that started by last years Grey Album (mixing samples taken from the Beatles White Album and Jay-Z's Black Album), which in turn inspired the Slack Album (Jay-Z's Black Album and Pavement), The Jack Album (the Black Album and the White Stripes) and , more bizarrely, the Zach Album (the Black Album and Zach from Saved by the Bell)?
